SCHOOL STUDENTS DEMONSTRATING THIS VERY MOMENT IN THE STREETS OF CYPRUS,
OUTSIDE PRESIDENTIAL PALACE
School pupils burst out of their classrooms and are taking to the streets
shouting slogans such as "Cyprus belongs to its people!", "The people united
will never be defeated!", "Troika go home!", "Hands off Cyprus!"Many students
are already outside the Presidential Palace, protesting against the bail out
agreement the Government has agreed with the Troika. Tommorow AKEL and the
Peoples Movement of the Left are organising a mass protest rally. PEOM, the
organised democratic school students movement, has called on school pupils to
join the struggle, despite threats isssued against pupils who leave their
classes.
